of the ESERA 2011 Conference

Please follow these instructions when submitting your completed manuscript.
1. If you are submitting a full paper it must be sent before the 30th
of November, to the following address:

2. You need to save the completed text (with illustrations) as a ".DOC" file with the first author name of the following form: author's last name-strand.doc (e.g. BRUGUIERE-09.doc) Please do not put in any accents and for the numbers 1 to 9 write 01, 02, etc.
3. Please send this .DOC file as an attachment.
4. Use the following form for the subject line of your message (this is very important - otherwise we risk losing your contribution)
E-BOOK_family name_first name_title_strand
(Do not use any accents, only include the name of the first author, and only include the first 4 words of the title).
e.g. 'E-BOOK_BRUGUIERE_CATHERINE_NARRATION AND SCIENTIFIC CONCEPTS_09'
Include the family name and the first name of the first author only.

Types of publications
a. An electronic book
b. A paper publication

Electronic book
All accepted communications and posters can be included in this electronic book after a “streamlined” review procedure. This review process, performed by the co-editors, will consist of checking if the content is readable and respects the ethics of a scientific publication.
The structure of this electronic book will be that of the 14 strands (with one or two co-editors per strand).
Number of pages for each full paper:
• Single oral presentation and posters: between 4 and 7 pages (including abstract, keywords, figures, references)
• Symposium: there are two possibilities (mutually exclusive):
o The whole symposium is presented as a single paper of 15 pages
o Each contribution can be considered as a single oral presentation (4-7 pages)
(one page includes about 540 hundred words, 3500 characters including spaces)
The goal of this electronic book is to publish an improved synopsis taking into account the discussion during your presentation.

Deadline :
- any full paper must be sent before the 30th of November, 2011
- end of reviewing process by the co-editor of parts (ex Strands): the 31st of January 2012
- the electronic publication will be put online The 15th of March 2012
Paper book
Independently from the e-book, we’ll also publish a paper book from few contributions selected by the strand-chairs. We’ll then contact directly authors of the selected contributions.
